About Maximum Brutality
Maximum Brutality Patches was founded by Adam Sosa, a lifelong metalhead and aspiring musician, in the spring of 2020. Inspired by distributors such as Pull The Plug Patches and Armed With Hammers, Adam recognized a gap in the market. While patch distros were becoming increasingly popular, very few catered to the underground extreme metal genres he was most passionate about.
From the beginning, the goal was simple: create high-quality, officially licensed merchandise that represented the heavier side of metal. Maximum Brutality focused on genres such as Brutal Death Metal, Slam, Technical Death Metal, Deathcore, and other forms of extreme music that were often overlooked by larger distributors.
Like many small businesses, the journey wasn't without its challenges. After launching during the uncertainty of the COVID era, Maximum Brutality released its first official products in 2022 and has been growing relentlessly ever since.
What started as a small passion project has evolved into a globally recognized underground merchandise distributor. Today, Maximum Brutality proudly maintains licensing agreements with more than 100 bands and several record labels from around the world. Through years of networking and relationship building, we have also established partnerships and friendships with fellow patch distributors across Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Americas, helping strengthen the worldwide extreme metal community.
While woven patches remain our foundation, Maximum Brutality has expanded its catalog to include embroidered patches, embroidered hats, textile flags, and other officially licensed merchandise. Every release is produced with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and respect for the artists who create the music we love.
More than anything, Maximum Brutality is built by a fan, for fans. We are active members of the underground music community, attending festivals, supporting live events, and working directly with bands and labels to create merchandise collectors can be proud to own.
As we continue to grow, our mission remains the same: support the underground, deliver quality merchandise, and bring Maximum Brutality to metalheads around the world.
